Buhari left for the British capital on May 7 on what is his latest medical trip.

Doctors say Buhari has the final say on whether to return.

In a bid to convince Nigerians that the Presidential Media Team was with President Muhammadu Buhari in the United Kingdom on Saturday, a video of the visit has been published on Aso Rock's Facebook page.

The comments came following protests in the capital Abuja demanding that Buhari "return or resign". Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters also went with members of the team.

Nigeria's president says he feels healthy enough to return home from London after three months away but says ultimately the decision is up to his doctors.

AS calls for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari, due to his ailment continue to dominate discourse in the polity, a pro-Buhari group, Conference of Patriotic Nigerians has promised to stage a grand solidarity walk on Monday in support of the President.

"President Buhari sent appreciation to all Nigerians, expressing hope that he would be with them soon" the statement read in part.

"Here, the doctor is absolutely in charge'", according to a statement by his media team which visited him on Saturday.Accompanied by photographs of Buhari and his media team exchanging banters in London, the statement also quoted Buhari as thanking his country folks and other Africans for praying for his recovery. It gave us a lot of latitude.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, led the media team which comprised of the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina; Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu and Personal Assistant on Digital/Online Media, Lauretta Onochie.
