Jose Mourinho hails Manchester United's "class, calm and consistency"

Manchester United ace Paul Pogba has been backed to win the PFA Player of the Year

Now it's been a while, actually, the last time I saw United play and score these many goals was while it was still under its legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United's Paul Pogba is the world's best midfield player and has the potential to win the Ballon d'Or in the next five years, the Frenchman's club and national team mate Anthony Martial has said.

After a poor first season at Old Trafford, in which the Netherlands worldwide managed just seven goals in 45 appearances, Depay was sold to Lyon in January earlier this year.

"That's good and for me it's simple".

However Juan Mata insists the players are not getting carried away by their fine start.

Japanese worldwide Okazaki was on hand to rifle home the rebound from a Riyad Mahrez shot in the first minute as the 2016 Premier League champions got off to a flying start in their first home game of the season.

"The players that I have in the squad nobody is in doubt. He is confident. The French language connection is there to help him a lot and get to the level we know he can be because the potential is huge".

United striker Marcus Rashford was the target of boos from the Welsh support, having endured a hard afternoon at the Liberty Stadium despite showing attacking potential.

Mourinho, however, has told the England global to embrace the boo boys.

But Mourinho believes that Martial is now settled after the two men held positive discussions about his future.

"I think so", said Mourinho when asked if the treatment should be treated as a compliment to Rashford. "Honestly I think if he was on the bench and if he came on in the last 15 minutes when the space was there, I think he would do the same as the other guys".

"I think the supporters felt that way too".

"So I think for them the Champions League can also be a great experience".

Rashford was also frustrated as Jonathan Moss ignored several calls for free-kicks to be awarded when he went to ground, the teenager's dissent earning a strong rebuke from the referee. After coming unstuck against so many teams they were expected to beat last season, this can only be welcomed by United supporters and the team are reaping the rewards so far.
