'GLOW' renewed for season 2

GLOW Alison Brie

There's no news about when the series will come back, or even begin production on the second season, but we DO know that it will be another 10-episode season.

The announcement was made on the show's official Twitter account, with a brief message reading: "Here we #GLOW again..."

Starring Alison Brie, Marc Maron, and Betty Gilpin, the first season of Glow saw a positive response from audiences, garnering a respectable 95% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes. Inspired by the short-lived but beloved show from the 80s, GLOW is a Cinderella story with bodyslams.

Jenji Kohan, who previously delivered Netflix another hit with OITNB, will be its executive producer alongside series creators and showrunners Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. Set in 1985 Los Angeles, it follows Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), a struggling out-of-work actress as she auditions for, trains and eventually makes TV's first women's wrestling show. Her former best friend, ex-soap star Debbie Eagan, played by Betty Gilpin.

What do you guys think of the news about GLOW season 2? If you didn't watch GLOW yet, well, what the hell are you waiting for?
