Girls Found Dead In Clinton Home

Police don't know what happened in a Maryland home were three girls, all under the age of 1o were found slain on Friday.

Around 7:37 a.m., 911 dispatchers received a call after an adult family member entered the home and founds the girls dead, said Jennifer Donelan, director of the media relations division for the Prince George's County Police Department.

"We have a number of people that we are talking to and are continuing to speak to", Donelan said.

The twitter account also mentions that investigators are looking into what happened in the home, and will provide details as soon as possible.

Exactly how the young girls died is not clear, police said they had experienced "trauma to the body". We have our evidence techs who are inside the home now.

Relatives of the victims are being contacted and counseling has even been offered to officers who responded and found the bodies.

We are on the scene of a homicide investigation in the 6400 blk of Brooke Jane Dr in Clinton.

Donelan said that police do not have any suspects in custody. At the news conference on Friday, police confirmed the murders were confined to this one residence.

Patel said police are interviewing family members.

Donelan said they have not determine yet who is responsible for the deaths. Fire officials arrived on the scene shortly after police and pronounced the children dead, he said.
