Get a Look at the Wildspire Waste in Monster Hunter

Thumper now bringing rhythm violence to Xbox One

Today Capcom released two brand new trailers of its upcoming mainline Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter World.

The new video features more of the creatures that will be coming to Monster Hunter: World that you'll likely come across when going on your adventures.

In the trailer above, you are introduced to a magnificent bird-like creature called the Kulu-Ya-Ku - a monster that steals the eggs of other creatures in both the Wildspire Waste and another area called the Ancient Forest, which was revealed last month. At the tail end, a mysterious enormous monster is seen rising up from a mountainous region and opening it's maw, possibly presenting itself as the first new elder dragon for the title. It will also charge anyone or anything that invades its territory. The first step is to take on a quest. Loot collected from fallen foes can be used to create new equipment and armor upgrades styled after the monsters they've slain, allowing hunters to survive the elements and defeat the tougher opponents that await them.

Monster Hunter: World will be playable at the Sony Interactive Entertainment booth at Gamescom 2017 from August 22 to 26, as well as at PAX West 2017 from September 1 to 4, and Tokyo Game Show 2017 from September 21 to 24. A PC release will follow later.
