'Game of Thrones' Brings Back a Long-Lost Character (and Weapon)

The significance of the photo above is mostly that it offers you a chance to see Cersei Lannister seemingly recovering from some of the news that she's heard from the battleground. While Daenerys, Tyrion, and Jon are all well aware of the impending threat, others like the Lannisters in King's Landing and the maesters in the Oldtown Citadel are less willing to believe that the Night King is on his way to murder them all. He's a trueborn Targaryen! She discovers that someone named Rhaegar annulled a marriage and married another woman.

The enemy always wins, and we still need to fight him.
After tonight's events unfolded, Jon Snow and his Fellowship of the Dead have head straight into the cold to find the army of the dead, hoping to score a White Walker. Acquired via HBO PR. After Robert's death, Joffrey took the throne and systematically tried to wipe the true Baratheon heirs out.

Rhaegar, son of the Mad King Aerys Targaryen (the one who liked to burn people with wildfire), had a pretty massive crush on Lyanna Stark, sister of our dearly departed Ned Stark. Except for him, it wasn't a direct quote.

Tyrion opposes her decision, but they did betray Olenna Tyrell, so they kind of deserved it anyway. But with Jon definitely confirmed as one of the three riders ("The dragon has three heads"), it was an wonderful scene. "They even worked a reference into the show of that - there are some real crowd-pleasing moments this season".

Although the title of the episode is not revealed yet, the episode will be heavy action-packed one.in the short trailer, we see that Jon Snow and his troops are going after the white walkers to accomplish their master plan. She's the mother of dragons. She seemed concerned what Drogon would do to Jon at first.

She tells her brother that she is ready to fight for their family name, for the both of them and for their unborn child. As the King of the North gingerly petted Daenerys' dragon (yes, I know how dirty this sounds), I thought I heard millions of Jon-and-Dany shippers purring, too.

A possible pregnancy, the return of a possibly important character, and, as the Verge notes, a huge reveal "designed to make the audience scream at the screen" were just some of the plot points in Sunday night's Game of Thrones.
