Friday's First Warning Forecast: Triple digit heat, late-day showers and storms

Heat and Humidity Continue

Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 80.

Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy - low in the lower 70s. There will be a 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms at night. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 72. South, southeast wind around 7 miles per hour.

Harvey is moving toward the west near 18 miles per hour and a continued westward motion with a slight increase in forward speed is expected over the next couple of days.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 64.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. South wind 10 to 13 miles per hour. Winds: S 5-15 miles per hour.

First Alert Saturday - Sunday Partly cloudy, hot and humid, 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms, highs middle 90s.

Saturday Night: Clear - low in the mid 60s to lower 70s with light wind. Winds could gust as high as 18 miles per hour.

A tropical storm warning is in effect for Martinique, St. Lucia, Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Another tropical wave is located over the far eastern Atlantic, a few hundred miles from the Cabo Verde Islands.
