Women’s World Cup 2017

After a four-match unbeaten run, India is looking forward to secure a semi-finals berth.

It was the combination of Batswomen Tasmin Beaumont and Serah Taylor that led England to a win.

It was the highest ever for England and second best overall in women's ODIs for any wicket. But captain Dane van Niekerk said her bowlers can reproduce the team's stunning form that saw South Africa bowl the West Indies out for 48 in Leicester.

Meanwhile, South Africa is on the heels of the Brits after losing this match.

Confident India Women team is set to take on South Africa at Grace Road, Leicester in the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup 2017. India have already won four out of four matches in the tournament so far. We played them a couple of months back so we know their strengths and weaknesses, so we will be working towards them.

While their batters, riding on big-hitting openers Lizelle Lee and Laura Wolvaardt, have impressed, the onus will be on captain Dane van Niekerk to marshall her bowling troops against the strong Indian line-up.

On the other hand, South Africa have been a bit inconsistent, winning two of their four matches.

India: Mithali Raj (captain), Ekta Bisht, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Jhulan Goswami, Mansi Joshi, Harmanpreet Kaur, Veda Krishnamurthy, Smrti Mandhana, Mona Meshram, Shikha Pandey, Poonam, Nuzhat Parween, Punam Raut, Deepti Sharma, Sushma Verma, Smriti Mandhana.

South Africa are now fifth in the table, but they are strong, and have scored over 300 in the highest scoring Women's match ever.
