War For The Planet Of The Apes: 15 WTF Moments

And ticket sales are still just conjecture for "War", hitting theaters Thursday night, but it now holds a 93 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the highest for any "Planet of the Apes" movies, including the Oscar-nominated 1968 classic that started it all. The film will see British actor-director Andy Serkis playing the role of Caeser, an evolved ape leader at war against oppressive humans.

"And I said, 'that makes it really hard, because now you're not giving me the reason I needed to say no". The inspiration for "War for the Planet of the Apes" was the novel by Pierre Boulie, "La Planète des Singes" (or "Monkey Planet").
