Nathalie Emmanuel talks about the tender moment between Missandei and Grey Worm

ALL THE FEELS

The night before Grey Worm leaves for battle, Missandei stops by his room to say goodbye.

For the first time Game of Thrones featured a sex scene, which was full of love and pent-up emotions. They've managed to survive up to this point while serving in Daenerys' army, but now that the Dragon Queen is invading King's Landing, the stakes are higher for everyone close to her. Let's just hope Grey Worm and Missandei can be together when this whole thing is over.

Spoilers for Game of Thrones Season seven, episode two ahead! And Grey Worm is an Unsullied soldier-meaning he was castrated at a young age. On Sunday, those feelings came to a head when Grey Worm said she was his weakness.

"There's something unique about it purely because of Grey Worm's situation-his brutal history of being mutilated-there's a real sense of trust here and that really plays out in this lovely scene where they physically act upon their love", Emmanuel said. Nathalie Emmanuel's intimate scene with Jacob Anderson in the latest episode was her first nude scene in "Game of Thrones". "For him to do that is a really big deal and Missandei knows that and doesn't really care".

"Amongst this chaos and they're like this beacon of something sweet and pure and attractive", she says.

"When asked about the scene, Nathalie Emmanuel explained what that part meant to the two "#Game of Thrones" characters. For that reason, I tried to keep my expectations for the way GOT might handle an eventual hookup between Missandei and Grey Worm, my favourite duo on the show, extremely low. "She's quite clear about what she wants because she fears she'll never have the chance to have that with him again", she told the EW. Whether you've done it many times, or none at all, it's a big deal. Emmanuel says the scene was treated with respect and handled with the utmost professionalism and being vulnerable and exposed like that helped make the scene that much better.

The second episode of Season 7, "Stormborn", took a quick break from war plotting to give the audience the long-awaited consummation (pun unintended, how dare you) of Grey Worm and Missandei's flirting.

The two characters are members of Daenerys' squad. So many individual pieces of this love scene break the GOT mould: there is no violence to be seen, it isn't about using anyone's body for the sake of establishing dominance, and, most shockingly, the woman's sexual pleasure actually takes precedence over the man's for once.
