Meizu Pro 7 gets teased ahead of official announcement

Already leaked before and now confirmed by the event invitation, the selling point of the Pro 7 is a second screen on the back of the phone. Some of the images posted by him carries image of a window which could be hinting to the USP of the PRO 7 i.e. its secondary screen. From the looks of the image above, sent to us courtesy of Meizu, some might indeed be valid. Another piece of information about the Pro 7, which might or might not be accurate, is the price of the flagship. "The smaller Pro 7 may sport a 5.2" FHD SuperAMOLED panel, a MediaTek X30 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, and USB-C. Apparently, the smartphone will cost about $480 outright, while a Plus version of the Pro 7 is supposed to sell for $555. As expected, both handsets will appear before the public at the end of the current month, and Yes, their main feature will be an additional screen on the back side of the case.

The Meizu Pro 7 is confirmed to launch on July 26, but while most companies rely on the front of its phones to grab your attention, Meizu's putting its focus on the rear of the Pro 7. The secondary screen shows the date, time, call alerts and other notifications. Moreover, both of them will be 12 MP Sony sensors.

The Meizu Pro 7 is said to come with a starting price of 2,799 Yuan, which is around $413 while Plus variant has an entry-level price tag of 3,299 Yuan or $486.

However, the Meizu Pro 7 Plus will set the bar even higher, carrying a Samsung Exynos 8895 chip, a 5.7-inch QHD display and come in three variants. Like, MX7, Pro 7 also supports 3D Touch.
