Indu Sarkar movie review Impressive dialogues performances makes Bhandarkar's political drama ENGAGING

Indu Sarkar Bollywood Film which released this friday recevied nice response from audience and film critics and film gained average talk on it day one screening which released at 700 theaters.

The Supreme Court yesterday dismissed the plea of a woman, who claims to be the biological daughter of late Sanjay Gandhi, seeking a stay on the release of the film.

Indu Sarkar is set during the period of emergency in India, 1975 to 1977.

Madhur Bhandarkar's Indu Srakar is released yesterday on 28th July.

Ever since Indu Sarkar trailer was unveiled, director Madhur Bhandarkar has only faced problems. Several attempts were made to stall the film's release, to no avail. However, Indu Sarkar, just like any other movie, has a two day window to improve its performance over the weekend. However, it would only depend on how the audience perceives the film in its following days. A large part of the film is devoted to getting Indu out of her self-conscious shell, leaving little room for development of the theme that involves administrative curtailing of personal freedoms enshrined in the constitution. The cast of the movie includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kirti Kulhari, Anupam Kher, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Supriya Vinod.

Earlier this month, Congress' Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil and Mumbai Congress President had sought Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' intervention to stop the film's release.

She had alleged the film was "full of concocted facts" and that it was "totally derogatory". However, the shows resumed later with tight security from the police.
