Disney to Add to Meyer Order, Three LNG Ships

Disney Cruise Line will have seven cruise ships by 2023

Close by an entire host of motion picture news, Disney's D23 Expo declared some enormous changes for its amusement parks, and specifically, Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort Florida. Those are slated to launch in 2021 and 2023.

Disney Cruise Line will build a ship to be delivered in 2022, saying that the demand is there for three new ships.

Although the names, design plans and itineraries for all three vessels are still being developed, each one is expected to offer its "own unique experiences".

The cruise line has ordered another new cruise ship to be built and once in service, it will be the seventh in the fleet. There are so many travelers that haven't tried cruising, so it helps to keep reminding them why they should eventually give it a try.

"We know our guests love dining at Epcot - and the restaurants really are out of this world", Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald said at the expo.

Since first setting sail in 1998, Disney Cruise Line has provided a quintessential family cruise vacation experience that combines the magic of Disney with the wonder of exploring different parts of the world. Its newest ships, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, added features such as a water coaster called the AquaDuck and virtual portholes for interior staterooms, which provide real-time outside views as well as animated Disney characters. According to Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek, Ratatouille: The Adventure is now the most popular attraction in that park.
