Deepika Padukone body-shamed for being too skinny, 'tired' in recent photoshoot

One Heroine Trolled For Colour One For Shape

Global star and B-town beauty Deepika Padukone, who recently uploaded a black and white photo of herself from the Vanity Fair photoshoot, received a lot of backlash on Instagram for looking too skinny in the photograph clicked by Marcus Ohlsson.

The picture was taken for the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.

Well, it seems like people just can't keep calm about Deepika Padukone and her growing popularity.

Deepika Padukone is being advised by her followers to eat more and gain weight after she posted a new picture on Instagram. She was SHAMED, only this time around skinny-shamed.

There were however, some Shivaji-esque warriors that came forward to defend Padukone's honour and told everybody to STFU and go home. The hate comments worsened with one person writing, "After physical relationship with Ranbir she has become like this".

Many other celebrities too have fallen victim to online body-shaming. Recently, Deepika posted a picture of herself in a two-piece and negative remarks followed soon, with many comments targeting Deepika's complexion and body.

Deepika Padukone called "dead body" for looking "anorexic" in this new photo.

In this day and age, it is scary to think that there are so many people who have such misinformed opinions about someone else's body, and have no qualms about voicing it. Repeat after us, you lot - it's not your body, so your opinion doesn't matter.
