Anthony Scaramucci on Reince Priebus: 'Some Brothers Are Like Cain and Abel'

White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci speaks to members of the media at the White House in Washington Tuesday

White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci is angry at staff members who he believes have been slowly crippling President Donald Trump's administration with damaging leaks, according to The New Yorker.

At this point, Anthony Scaramucci then went on to mock the Chief of Staff. "Let me leak the f**ing thing and see if I can c*ck-block these people the way I c*ck-blocked Scaramucci for six months, '" he said. "Reince is a fu**ing paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac", he continued.

The brash new communications chief ominously added that he and President Trump "have a very, very good idea of who the leakers are, who the senior leakers are in the White House". He's shown no hesitation to enlist what he describes as his "buddies" at the FBI to investigate anyone he believes is damaging the White House. On CNN, he clarified that they were brothers like "Cain and Abel".

Scaramucci last week described their relationship as "a little bit like brothers, where we rough each other up once in a while".

It all appears to signal what could be a new and even less stable phase in Trump's young presidency, with considerable energy devoted to palace intrigue and internal power struggles.

Scaramucci may be trying to play the heavy before he even officially starts his job, but he's also game, like his boss, to publicly escalate Trump team feuds.

Scaramucci has reportedly been stoking a rivalry with Priebus, the former chairman of the Republican National Committee, since taking his White House press job less than a week ago. "I will be contacting @FBI and the @TheJusticeDept", Scaramucci wrote on Twitter Wednesday night, tagging Priebus' Twitter handle in a way that suggested he was calling out Priebus as a leaker-an assertion Scaramucci later denied he was trying to make.

Trump, in a series of tweets and public statements, has rhetorically strong-armed Sessions for recusing himself from the ongoing Russian Federation investigation, calling him "beleaguered", and accusing him of taking a "very weak position" on matters involving his former Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.

The Associated Press subsequently obtained the same financial disclosure Thursday.

"I think Scaramucci's full of himself", Gingrich said.

Although he is new to the White House, Mr Scaramucci had been employed at a senior level by the Export-Import Bank since June 19.

Lizza called into CNN this morning to discuss his reporting. "I know that there was a public disclosure mechanism in my financial forms", Scaramucci said. But let me tell you about myself. The White House did not provide information for this fact-check. Scaramucci deleted his Twitter message on the leak.
