After 'GOT' premiere, Ed Sheeran deleted his Twitter

What's Ed Sheeran doing in Westeros?!

Ed Sheeran has deleted his Twitter account after being slammed for his performance in Game of Thrones.

Sheeran appeared as a Lannister soldier in the season premiere of the HBO fantasy drama.

"It's a pretty song, I've never heard it before?" (And let's not forget to throw out props to actor David Bradley for playing Arya Stark playing Walden Frey.) In one fell swoop, Ayra enacted her vengeance on the Frey clan for their betrayal at the Red Wedding.

Sheeran's character will be at the centre of a love triangle with Lisa Simpson and Nelson Muntz. "When Lisa meets Brendan, Milhouse comes in and he goes, 'I've brought three kinds of waters - cold, warm, and lukewarm, '" says Jean.

Fans speculate that Sheeran, who said in previous media interviews that he was "freaking out" to be in GOT, was overwhelmed by the mixed positive and negative reactions on his cameo role as a singing soldier.

Fans have been sitting tight for Ed's appearance since March, when the show's makers declared it amid their appearance at South By Southwest Festival in Texas.

"We had a flawless part for him".

With a story line as complex as in Game of Thrones, it seems quite possible that if you so much as blink during an episode, you're liable to miss a death, plot twist and/or sudden rise to power.
