Moto X Force Gets Android Nougat Update With New Improvements

Lenovo's Moto M, which was launched previous year in India, has now according to user reports started receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update in the country. If you're a Republic Wireless customer looking for a new phone, will the Moto E4 be your next daily driver?

So guess it's time to say goodbye to Marshmallow and install Nougat on the smartphone.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto M, as per user reports, comes with a considerable size of around 1.5GB.

Coming to the specifications of the Moto M, the device features a5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 2.5D glass laid on top. The update includes Android 7.0, the May 1st, 2017 Android security patch, video chatting app Duo and some improvements to the stability of the phone.

While the other changes that come along with Android 7.0 Nougat should also be expected, the changelog doesn't mention changes apart from the ones mentioned above. Which are New Multi-window allows the user to switch between apps with a double tap or run two apps side by side. And there will be a lot of other things as well.

While the firmware update is a large file, users should connect their devices to a Wi-Fi network instead of using their cellular network to download the update. Ideally, you should have at least 50% of your battery life remaining. Usually, Moto M owners should receive a notification about the update but they can also check for the update manually by diving into the phone's settings page and click on the "System Updates" tab at the bottom. The update seems to be rolling out only in Brazil now. The update should take about 10 to 15 minutes to get installed on your phone.
