Kylian Mbappe would join Arsenal to play under Arsene Wenger, claims relative

"Arsenal can do both, they can extend the contracts of Sanchez and Ozil and why not buy two or three players?", Pires said.

"They both have a very good profile to play for Arsenal and work every morning with (Arsene) Wenger".

Real are one of the few clubs who could break the bank to sign him up and, should Mbappe make good on his enormous potential, he could end up being worth the money.

Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been linked with moves for the 18-year-old as a result.

Real Madrid and PSG are also interested in Mbappe but Wenger, who was recently spotted in Monaco, is believed to be ready to exploit his standing with the teenager to bring him to north London.

Arsene Wenger is adamant Olivier Giroud still has a part to play for Arsenal next season despite a frustrating 2016-17 campaign at the Emirates Stadium.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both keen on Mbappe too and it was feared that the France global might snub Arsenal for a bigger club playing in the Champions League.

Arsenal had been willing to pay a world record for Mbappe, who scored 26 goals in a stunning debut season and helped Monaco win Ligue 1 and reach the semi-final of the Champions League.

The unnamed relative said, "Wenger is a great man".

Spanish newspaper AS claimed on Wednesday that Real's only real transfer transfer objective of the summer if the signing of Mbappe.

Their fifth-place Premier League finish means they'll be in action on Thursday nights in the Europa League, and despite winning the FA Cup, the season wasn't good enough. Either it goes through an intermediate club, or it goes directly into a large club.
