Knicks reportedly are listening to offers for Kristaps Porzingis

Like Bryant, the 20-year-old Booker can create his own shots, has a solid post game, and isn't gun shy as evidenced by his 70-point outburst in Boston last season.

Anthony Davis: The New Orleans Pelicans big man is a legitimate franchise player.

This thing is just a catastrophe building to an eventual head. Team president Phil Jackson on Wednesday had even acknowledged the organization was weighing its options with the mindset of whatever was best for their long-term outlook.

"We've been getting calls and we're listening", the Knicks executive said on Knicks Night Live.

"As much as we love this guy, we have to do what's good for our club". Mills and top advisor Clarence Gaines scouted him closely in France, but it wasn't until Wednesday that Jackson finally got to interview him. "The future, you know, what it brings". If he does get dealt, he would likely bring a huge haul that could decimate the Celtics' stockpile of future draft picks, not to mention the current roster. Jackson added that the Knicks haven't been successful with Anthony, and they're going for a youth movement.

However, if we know anything about the Knicks, it's that they're a cluster-f**k of dysfunction.

Jackson didn't hide the fact that his ire stems from Porzingis' exit-interview flub and said he'd never had a player pull that in all his years of coaching.

Only the past two seasons has general manager Ryan McDonough showed the willingness to start from scratch completely. He's considered a player who could blossom into an All-Star. Among that group of nine players, there are 16 player seasons where this was accomplished. Porzingis made 112 past year while shooting 35.7 percent.

Porzingis is already well on his way to establishing himself as a force.

Porzingis has more potential than C.J. He allowed opponents to only shoot 50.7 percent on those attempts, fifth in the National Basketball Association. The most important thing to me is to be in the right place and a place where I can develop myself and I can improve. The New York Knicks have the sixth overall pick in a very deep draft, according to the experts. After that, he becomes a restricted free agent, meaning the Knicks can match any offer he gets from another team. Maybe Jackson salvages this situation, but it seems unlikely because of his track record with the Knicks.

Is Jackson that hurt by Porzingis' lack of attendance at his exit meeting? It is known that Porzingis and Phil do not exactly see eye-to-eye.

The Knicks had a choice back back in February. Relations between the two have grown so icy that when Jackson chose to opt in to the final two years of his five-year contract with the organization, he let Dolan know of his decision via text.

Philadelphia recently traded up from the No. 3 spot to No. 1 to presumably select Washington's Markelle Fultz, potentially leaving them out of the Porzingis equation. "We're going to have good players and have a good team".

This should make for an interesting draft night.
