Jorge Mendes tells Real that Cristiano Ronaldo has numerous offers

As reported by Spanish daily MARCA and British newspaper The Independent, Ronaldo's decision has been described as "irreversible" - the 2016 Ballon d'Or victor is incensed by the lawsuit brought forward by Spanish prosecutors while the Real Madrid club hierarchy is reportedly scrambling to placate their prized asset. In the past, he said he wanted to retire with Real Madrid.

The news that Ronaldo has made a decision to quit Real Madrid this summer first emerged in the Portuguese media and according to those reports, the forward is firm in his decision.

'Alvaro Morata is not happy at Real Madrid'.

Madrid were rocked on Friday when Portuguese newspaper A Bola claimed the 32-year-old no longer wanted to play in Spain amid scrutiny over his tax affairs, a story that sources close to the player have seemingly since confirmed to other global news outlets.

However, Ronaldo has been accused by Spanish prosecutors of "defrauding the authorities of millions of euros in tax", and this hasn't gone down well.

Almost a year ago Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi was accused of tax fraud totaling €4.1 million (£3.5 million) and lost his appeal against a 21-month jail prison sentence.

He has completed eight seasons at Real since joining them from Manchester United in 2009 for a then world-record fee of €96 million. He is now playing at the Confederations Cup in Russian Federation, leading the Portuguese national side which won the European Championship under Ronaldo's captaincy. They were recently won the uefa champions league.

Ronaldo led Real Madrid to their 12th European Cup earlier this month after scoring two goals in a 4-1 victory over Juventus in the Champions League final, becoming the tournament's top scorer.

The four-time Ballon d'Or victor, who is now with the Portugal national team in Russian Federation at the Confederations Cup, only signed a five-year contract with Madrid last November.
