Florentino Perez To Remain As Madrid President, Sepp Blatter defends Ronaldo

REAL MADRID president Florentino Perez says the two players he wants to sign this summer are Kylian Mbappe and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Madrid were on the verge of bringing former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper De Gea back to Spain in 2015 but the move, which included sending Real custodian Keylor Navas to United as a makeweight, was derailed as the clubs failed to close the deal before the transfer window closed.

United are however still hoping to do a deal for Morata.

Unable to sign the Brazilian, Perez sanctioned a then-world record transfer for then-Tottenham man Gareth Bale in September 2013. It has been suggested in Portuguese newspaper A Bola that Ronaldo is "outraged" with his treatment by Spanish tax authorities over an alleged unpaid £12.8m bill.

"The players are very fond of Keylor Navas, and also the coach".

While all attention was on speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to leave the club, Real's representatives have worked hard in the background to secure Florentino Perez's targets. Mbappe plies his trade for a talented Monaco squad that won the Ligue 1 title and made a deep run in the UEFA Champions League, but the team sells several of its top players on a yearly basis and may have peaked.

Barcelona have benefitted from the world-class ability of Messi ever since. He told reporters he was "sad" after Madrid's 2012 league triumph, after falling out with manager Jose Mourinho-coincidentally now in charge of United-and he has repeatedly bemoaned the fact that Madrid fans boo him.

"Zidane saw him when he was 16 years old".

But the 18-year-old Monaco superstar is still to be convinced he will get enough game time this season and could request to stay put for another year.
