Waiting for iPhone 8 this year? Don't hold your breath

Most interestingly, Apple treasure troves Weibo, OnLeaks, and Geskin, all show that wireless charging is at the heart of the design. He believes that an "iPhone 8 Super Cycle" featuring three models, one of which will have an OLED display, will boost upgrade rates and convince new customers to buy. Remember, iPhone 8 will no longer have a physical home button. A prior report had hinted that the brand was going to sell separate accessories for wireless charging, a common practice among Android manufacturers like Samsung. While several reports have already dismissed the reports as fake and recent leaks do not tell anything about the said feature, iPhone fans still expect the iPhone 8 to feature wireless charging. There also are reports of the Chinese firm Luxshare developing the wireless chargers for the upcoming iPhone 8. Elad Dubzinski CEO of Powermat confirmed this feature in a press release too.

As usual, take this with a pinch of salt for the time being, but given the fact that more and more rumours are pointing that the iPhone 8 would feature wireless charging capabilities, there's a big chance that this is happening.

Rumours suggest that Apple will put a 2,700 mAH battery in the iPhone 8, which would nearly put it on a par with the 2,900 mAH battery in the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus. For the main rea-facing camera, the company is reportedly testing versions of the iPhone for better photographs by positioning the dual-camera system vertically instead of horizontally on that of iPhone 7 Plus. We've been seeing some leaks regarding the mysterious iPhone 8 for the past couple of weeks - one suggested that the TouchID fingerprint scanner will now be on the back of the device, but following leaks refuted that. The Cupertino-based tech giant acquired LuxVue in 2014.

As many of you know, this year, Apple is celebrating the 10 anniversary of its iPhone.
