President Trump marks 100 days in office, blasts media

The White House Correspondents' Dinner-or what our absent president called, "a large group of Hollywood actors and Washington media...consoling each other in a hotel ballroom"-occurred rather unnecessarily and awkwardly but still with plenty of humor on Saturday night".

The dinner usually features a light-hearted speech in which the president mocks the media and himself, before a comedian takes the stage to do his share of roasting.

"I thought the whole evening was arranged around a response to a guy who wasn't there", said Carlson, who noted that he has attended the dinner for 25 years, but was unable to make it on Saturday.

Recently, Minhaj hosted the White House Correspondents' Association dinner and raised several eyebrows for obvious reasons.

- "We have to address the elephant that's not in the room".

'The leader of our country is not here.

Duterte's spokesman said Trump expressed his "understanding and appreciation" for the challenges the country was facing in its war on drugs.

"We're going to give Americans the freedom to purchase the health care plans they want, not the health care forced on them by the government", Trump said.

He even turned his attention towards Trump's opponent in the Presidential elections, saying, "Even Hillary Clinton couldn't be here tonight". I just think that a lot of people don't trust you right now. Or was he right to skip it? "And I'll be so angry at Congressman (Mike) Kelly and Congressman (Tom) Marino and all of our congressmen in this room if we don't get that damn thing passed quickly".

He also joked about Trump's tweets: "He tweets at 3 AM... sober". In four hours, Donald Trump will be tweeting about how bad Nicki Minaj bombed at this dinner. "Trump's actions speak much louder than his words, and it is abundantly clear that we can not trust our president's word", Pa. Dems Chairman Marcel Groen said in a release before the event.

Mr Trump's speech in Harrisburg was remarkable not for the familiar boasting about his achievements, the ritualistic promises to build his wall, his talk about lawless immigrants and his vow to repeal and replace Obamacare, but for the amount of time he spent whacking the media. "Now you know what it feels like to be a minority". "His two most, supposedly, impactful executive orders on a migrant ban for Muslim nations are being held up in court".

"I really enjoyed watching him rehearse it because it was just a really surreal life moment for me watching Will Ferrell just performing in just a track suit", she said.

In case you forgot, the previous commander-in-chief did have a sense of humour and savaged Trump back in 2011 amid the birth certificate controversy.
