Paul McCartney confirms 'Pirates 5' role with character poster

Beatles legend Paul McCartney recently showed off a distinctly different look of his, taking to Twitter to share a poster of his yet-unnamed Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales character. Deadline reported in March 2016 that the McCartney sequence, "an extra big set-piece scene", was filmed after production had initially ended in order to add the singer's cameo to the film.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be in theaters May 26, 2017.

Directed by Espen Sandberg & Joachim Rønning, the film stars Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, Brendon Thwaites, Kaya Scodelario, Kevin McNally, Geoffrey Rush, and Orlando Bloom.
