Mourinho To Play Pogba, Youngsters Vs Palace; Slams Critics' 'Lies'

Jose Mourinho has complained about Manchester United's congested fixture list this season

The Manchester United manager said in a press conference: "For the kids it will be a great experience to play in the Premier League in the last match of the season". There are clubs with more stability than us, better squads, more time to work.

Fellaini came off in the 75th minute at St Mary's, sparking concerns the Belgian might not recover in time for United's European showpiece against Ajax in Stockholm next week.

Winning the trophy will also mean United qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League, while losing will make a sixth-placed finish and the EFL Cup the legacy from his first year in charge. I hope you don't kill me when you see my team [against Palace].

Asked whether he would do the same in United's position, Allardyce said: "No doubt about that".

Following United's goalless draw at Southampton on Wednesday, Mourinho-pre-Crystal-Palace-press-conference.aspx">Mourinho said the Palace match should have been brought forward at least a day to give his side the best chance against Ajax.

"I'm looking at them and analyse where we can win something, win some details, but, on the other hand, I always look at my team, our strengths and how we can beat opponents".

The 19-year-old's versatility could represent a major boost for Mourinho, however, who is now sweating on the fitness of Chris Smalling and Marouane Fellaini ahead of a season-defining match against Ajax.

Romero was busy early in the second half as he preserved his clean sheet for United, which fielded a slew of fringe players " including Wayne Rooney " a week out from the Europa League final against Ajax in Stockholm. "He has to develop, of course he has to".

Mourinho has confirmed that Pogba will start against Palace this weekend as he needs to get some minutes under his belt ahead of next Wednesday night's Europa League final.

Mourinho, meanwhile, has praised Wayne Rooney's professionalism amid one of his most hard seasons at Old Trafford. They have a bigger budget for sure and if because of the bigger budget they feel pressure then that is possible.

"It's very hard. The good thing with Wayne is that he's very much a club man".
