LG Announce Global Rollout For LG X Power2 Smartphone

LG just announced that its X Power 2 (a smartphone unveiled back in February at MWC 2017) is being released around the world starting this month. Long lasting battery aside, the LG X power 2 isn't made to turn heads. The company says that it will last up to 26 hours for talk time, up to 18 hours for video viewing or up to 19 hours of web browsing on a full charge. The first markets to receive the mid-range smartphone will be North America, followed by Asia, Europe, Latin America and the other regions.

LG's X power series of phones feature a bigger than usual battery capacity. Now, nearly three months later, LG has announced that the smartphone will start shipping from this month. The company claims that the battery in the smartphone can last an entire weekend before requiring further recharging.

The 5.5 inch HD In-cell Touch display has 1280 x 720 resolution and a 5MP wide angle camera up front which makes it flawless for taking group selfies. LG X Power offers a 5.3-inch HD (1280 X 720 pixels) IPS display.

The LG X power2 is a mid-range smartphone that runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The LG X Power has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal memory and an expandable memory via storage slot.

For optics, LG X power2 sports a 13-megapixel rear sensor with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with soft-light LED flash for better selfies.

All of the above is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery that also supports fast charging. It also features Auto Shot and Gesture Interval Shot meaning the shutter will trigger once a face or hand gesture is detected.
