Grab a free sample of Dunkin' Donuts new frozen coffee on Friday

The new blended beverages can be customized with flavor swirls and shots, too.

Dunkin' Donuts is now adding Frozen Dunkin' Coffee to their menu lineup, starting on Thursday. The complimentary sample measures 3.5 ounces.

The Coolatta had 990 calories and 133 grams of sugar. Dunkin' Donuts swapped the drinks because the Coolatta wasn't up to the chain's standards, according to executives speaking at the company's media day in March. A large skim version of the new coffee will have 550 calories and 125 grams of sugar. The frozen treat from the chain is made from 100% Arabica coffee.

Dunkin' introduced the frozen beverage at the beginning of May.

The brand's contest is called "Freeze the Day with $1K" where select customers will be surprised with $1,000, a prize pack, and a summer's supply of the new frozen coffee. No purchase necessary, 18+. The official rules can be found at https://dunkinpromotions.com/.

Dunkin' Donuts is also celebrating Perks Week, which means a special daily deal for existing DD Perks Rewards members and anyone who enrolls in the program.
