The Last Jedi teaser trailer released

The Last Jedi will be the last we see of Princess Leia.

The much-awaited first trailer of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" was recently unveiled and it is everything that you have been waiting for.

The two-minute teaser begins with Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, apparently clambering over the mountain where she faced Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) at the end of the last instalment, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

"I only know one truth", Skywalker says at the close of the trailer.

Space battles are also "going to be a significant part of the game for multiplayer", promise the development team, with the battles extending across all of the eras, while different ships will have different role types.

Previously, Director Rian Johnson also revealed whether fans will discover who Rey's parents are in The Last Jedi.

Johnson said the movie, scheduled for release in December, is still in post production.

During the Star Wars Celebration Day in Orlando, Ridley shared that she and Fisher sang together while they were filming the Star Wars installment. "I can't wait for you to meet her", added Tran.

We now have our first peek at the next chapter in the Star Wars saga, "Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi".

But, there are still teases abound about the more important story points as well, both around Luke.

Check out the full trailer below, and stay tuned for a closer look at what this could mean for the LEGO Star Wars line.

Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy confirmed Carrie Fisher will not appear in Star Wars Episode 9. Her condition was announced as stable at the scene, but she did not see much improvement in the hospital and died just a few days later. "Encounter many of Star Wars' greatest characters in a story of revenge, betrayal, and redemption that spans 30 years".
