Steelers Antonio Brown says goodbye to owner Dan Rooney

Cleveland Browns majority owner Jimmy Haslam and his wife Dee released a heartfelt, respectful statement honoring the passing of Pittsburgh Steelers owner Dan Rooney.

In his statement, Davis highlighted Rooney's dedication to improving the NFL and his dedication to diversifying the league, per the Raiders official website.

Dan Rooney was 84-years-old. From there, Dan Rooney oversaw National Football League championships for a team that had never before played in an National Football League title game.

"[Rooney] personified everything that's good about Pittsburgh", Penguins president David Morehouse said of the longtime Steelers executive. "Personally, I'll always be grateful for the guidance and friendship he provided to me over the years". Our thoughts and prayers will remain with Patricia, Art, the Rooney family and the entire Steelers organization. More than that he was a great friend who was a man of principle and a role model for any of us privileged to be a part of the NFL.
