Facebook killer's mother says he 'snapped'

Authorities in several states are on the lookout for a man police say shot a Cleveland retiree collecting aluminum cans and then posted video of the apparently

Facebook said Stephens' account was suspended within 23 minutes of the murder video being reported, but admitted it needs to "do better".

Thomas Ducharme said they delayed Stephens slightly by telling him the fries were not quite ready.

The mother of Steve Stephens, who posted a video of him killing an elderly man, said her son had "snapped and turned into a whole different person".

Stephens killed himself in Pennsylvania on Tuesday as he was being chased by state troopers.

Following a brief police pursuit, Stephens died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On Tuesday, in an interview with a local OH news station, Lane spoke about how her life has changed since Stephens recorded himself killing Godwin in Cleveland on Easter Sunday.

In the footage Stephens pulls over in a vehicle on a street in Cleveland as he says: "Find me somebody to kill, gonna kill this guy right here".

"We have a lot of work and we will keep doing all we can to prevent tragedies like this from happening", Mr Zuckerberg said.

Lane said her and Stephens were romantically involved for a while and had discussed getting married.

Stephens was found dead as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after being spotted by police in Western Pennsylvania, officials say.

The Godwin sisters told Lane that none of this was her fault and that they don't hold any animosity for her.

Stephens demanded Godwin repeat the name of his former girlfriend. And so, I just would want him to know that even in his worst state, he's loved...that God loves him, even in the bad stuff that he did to my dad...even though he's going to have to go through many things to get better, there's worth in him. He continued posting videos on the day of the murder and claimed he had killed twelve other people although this has not yet been substantiated, according to the BBC.

"Each one of us forgives the killer, the murderer", Godwin-Baines said Monday. "And as long as there's life in him, there is hope for him too".

"At a little after 11, state police officers received information that Stephens' white vehicle was parked in a McDonald's auto park", said Williams.
