Wells & Huddersfield To Face Man City Again

A full English soccer division separates Manchester City from Huddersfield Town, but they'll meet once again Wednesday in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Guardiola says he hasn't been made up his mind, who will be his goalkeeper for the clash against Huddersfield despite Willy Caballero appearing to leapfrog Claudio Bravo as his first choice.

Guardiola, however, has rotated his keepers for domestic cup ties this season, so that would then mean Argentine Caballero returning for Sunday's Premier League trip to Sunderland. "You have to make sure you're on your toes and sharp, so I learnt a lot from it". "We are going to decide game by game", the Spaniard said. I say to the players, "Be fearless and see what happens".

With Wagner forced to watch tonight's tie from the stand, the big question is whether any of his coaching staff will be tempted to follow his example from the Leeds game and race down the touchline if Huddersfield net a late victor.

They are clearly a good side and are right in the shake-up for promotion to the Premier League.

The first contest between the two sides at John Smith's Stadium ended in a goalless draw, but Sky Blues manager Pep Guardiola will be confident his side can find the net at home, especially after their recent 5-3 victory over Monaco in the UEFA Champions League. "We know how many surprises there are in the Cup, so I have to think about it after the training session tomorrow (Wednesday) morning".

Vincent Kompany could return from injury while Claudio Bravo is expected to start in goal.

The match kicks off at 19:45pm on Wednesday March 1.

However, they face a much tougher task traveling to the City's home ground with not many people expecting their fearless resistance to last much longer.

Guardiola said: "There are five, six players out of contract but they know the situation".

Caballero, signed to City from Malaga in 2014 by former manager Manuel Pellegrini, has featured 15 times for City this season.

"I had good relations with nearly all my owners in Barcelona and Bayern Munich [former clubs] - it is important to know them". “Im happy Im still able to be in the country and that they dont send me out. If the results are not good we are going to be replaced.
