Sniper Elite 4 gets a new mini-campaign next week

Sniper Elite 4 Deathstorm DLC

Sniper Elite 4 fans have a lot to be excited about on March 21, 2017, with the launch of a brand new DLC campaign and free in-game content for multiplayer. Part 1: Inception will be available in the PlayStation store starting next week, and can be purchased either individually or as part of the Sniper Elite 4 Season Pass, which grants access to all the game's paid add-ons.

Meanwhile, a new multiplayer mode is being introduced to Sniper Elite 4 as well, and it'll be free of charge.

Deathstorm campaign is set after the events of the main game.

Playable from start to finish for 1-2 players. The introduction mission sounds exciting, set in the colder climates of Northern Italy, where up to two players set out to infiltrate a bomb run Nazi Naval Base looking for top-secret documents and packages surrounding the Manhattan Project.

Rebellion promises a "massive environment" ripe with challenges and objectives to complete in Inception, although standing between you and success will be German destroyers and warehouses chock-full of Kriegsmarine soldiers.

There is also a multiplayer mode called Elimination.

The Night Fighter expansion pack includes three new weapons, night-time camo rifle skins for eight weapons and new male and female characters skins. That's accompanied by "Night Woods", a new multiplayer map that is free.

Elimination is a 12 player game mode, where players are partnered up in teams of two to take down all other snipers. If you kill an enemy player, they're forced to sit out on the sidelines. But if their team kills one of your teammates, they tag back in one of their sidelined comrades.
