Nintendo plans to double Switch production for coming year

South Park The Fractured But Whole Not Coming to Switch

So, at the moment it is not clear how games can be recovered in the Nintendo Switch in case of being deleted.

The story begins with the user of Reddit Patsuann, who sent his console for Nintendo to fix. It looks like the video game company is learning from their mistakes and upping production on the latter console.

Citing sources who were briefed by Nintendo's plans, the Wall Street Journal reports that the company is intending to increase its production numbers for the Switch console in the financial year starting this April through March 2018.

Players can already start downloading the beta right now on their Nintendo Switch devices in the eShop. Interestingly, when launching The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the first time, a prompt saying that necessary data could not be found and must be downloaded appeared, followed by a small cloud icon popping up.

The success of Switch over Wii U of course depends on the content, i.e., the games of the console.

It's time for some good news no the home console front for Nintendo. According to Nintendo, this includes "new items returning from previous Mario Kart games such as Boo, the item-stealing ghost, and the Feather, which gives you a high jump in battle mode". But if you're not willing to drop the money on this, it's worth remembering that the market is still nascent when it comes to Switch accessories, and that we'll hopefully see some more Switch-focused docks in this design style soon.

While this statement is not an outright announcement of cloud saves coming to the Nintendo Switch, it does mean that the feature is at the very least being discussed within the company.
