Georgia teen shot, killed by homeowner after girl sneaks him into house

An East Georgia town mourns the loss of a local teen over the weekend who was shot after a girl sneaked him into her house and her dad mistook him for an intruder.

It later emerged that Fulton's daughter had invited Middleton into the home in the early hours of the morning and hidden him in the guest bedroom.

The police report further states that it was shortly after the teenager was shot that Fulton learned he was with his daughter in the room. He thought it was an intruder. When Middleton didn't say anything, the dog kept barking and acting aggressive toward the bedroom. Also, some unusual noises were coming from inside the room.He realised something was not right, so he grabbed his gun and went downstairs to inspect.
