SU Gears Up for ACC Tourney

Clemson concluded its regular season 16-14 and 6-12 in ACC play and will be the No. 12 seed in next week's ACC Tournament in Brooklyn, where it will face 13th-seeded N.C. State at noon on Tuesday.

NC State has an all-time record of 71-53 in the ACC Tournament, and they have won at least one game in the last five ACC Tournaments. We just have to win the first game.

"I used to feel the pressure as a team a long time ago, but I think guys have just said, 'Just play, have fun, stop worrying about things like that, '" said guard Avry Holmes, who leads the ACC in 3-point percentage.

Holmes' percentage ranks No. 2 all-time in Clemson history in ACC play, trailing only the 54.5 success rate posted by Michael Tait in 1987, when the 3-point line was a foot closer than it is now.

"In the last four minutes we just fell apart, " said BC coach Jim Christian. And it is this newfound perspective Clemson hopes it can ride deep into the tournament, perhaps upsetting a few of the more powerful teams along the way.

The Pack is the 13 seed in this year's ACC Tournament.

If we play Tuesday, then we get to play Wednesday.
