Premium Service Ditches Preview Now Available to Users in US

According to a new report, Microsoft has formally albeit quietly launched the Outlook.com Premium email service for users in the United States this week. You can create up to five email addresses per domain. All of your custom email addresses can sync to your existing Outlook.com mailbox.

At the moment, Outlook.com Premium appears to still be US only, so you'll have to wait for access if you live elsewhere in the world.

Microsoft's Hotmail email service became Outlook.com in 2012, and since then the company has reworked it into arguably one of the best email services on the market. If you already own a domain, use it with Outlook.com Premium at no extra charge. That can also be configured during the initial setup phase.

Microsoft recently made Outlook.com Premium available to everyone in the United States as a preview, but it's now opening it up to everyone in the United States - dropping the "preview" tag. Sharing relationships are set up automatically between the people who have email addresses on your domain. Microsoft is yet to announce whether the service will be available in other countries, so don't get your hopes up just yet.

Premium is Microsoft's subscription offer for the service and it has been in preview phase since April past year, and then opened to the public on October 2016. To sign up, interested users can Click (or tap) the blue Sign in to Get Started button on the Outlook.com Premium Offer page. After that, the price rises to $50 per year.

During the preview program for the premium service, Microsoft offered eligible customers a special price of $19.95 per year for the service which was noted to normally cost $49.99 per year.
