The social networking company could be developing an app that lets you stream premium content it curates through set-top boxes such as Apple TV. This new tvOS app would bring Facebook videos to our living rooms, thus expanding Facebook's ad reach.

According to the report, the app is part of Facebook's plan to become a "video-first" company that can compete for television ad dollars.
