Carpool Karaoke comes to Apple Music - extended trailer

The Youtube phenomenon carpool karaoke, courtesy of James Corden and the folks at CBS' Late Late Show, is about to rise to new heights (literally) when the weekly series premiers exclusively on Apple Music.

Alicia Keys and John Legend are also featured singing Fallin', with Ariana Grande and Seth McFarlane belting out Suddenly Seymour as well as Billy Eichner and Metallica jamming out to Rihanna's Diamonds.

As the trailer shows, the celebs will go on some epic adventures and will venture out of the auto, taking some of Hollywood's hottest celebrities into bakeries, supermarkets and basketball courts.

The duo can also be seen ditching the vehicle in favour of a helicopter for a witty rendition of R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly".

If the crown fits! A release date has yet to be announced.

Did we mention that they also get jiggy wit it with the USC marching band? James Corden and Ben Winston serve as co-creators and executive producers along with executive producer and showrunner Eric Pankowski.

This new series, which is set to be released via Apple Music, won't always be fronted by The Late Late Show host Corden.

The pair can be seen driving slowly through Los Angeles in a video clip shared by fans on Twitter.

James Corden spread his wings and took Carpool Karaoke to the skies.

I think I'd just want to put on some Biggie...
