3 beta 3 for developers rolling out now

Just like with the iOS 10.2.1 update, it appears that macOS 10.12.3 will be a small one.

After taking a holiday break, Apple is back to publishing new iOS betas.

Designed for the fourth-generation Apple TV, tvOS 10.1.1 beta can be obtained by connecting the Apple TV to a computer with a USB-C to USB-A cable, downloading and installing the software from a registered developer account via iTunes or Apple Configurator.

As for what's included in iOS 10.2.1, it'll likely focus on bug fixes and under-the-hood performance tweaks. We'll be sure to let you know if we find anything of significance in the latest beta release.

Around 6 percent of Apple devices run on earlier software versions, mainly older devices such as iPhone 4/4S and iPod Touch, which can not take an update any more. New release notes will be posted in Downloads on the Apple Developer Program website. Todesco warned that the Yalu jailbreak is now in beta, which means that it comes with bugs and some performance issues which will affect the performance of the operating system.

Currently, Apple is signing iOS 10.2 and it's important to use iTunes in order to do a clean restore of the firmware.

Having said that, the smart money would have to be iOS 10.3 beta 1, as this is the next big update, and will come with a new feature, although its name has been causing a great deal of confusion.
