NYC Holiday Shoppers Hit the Ground Running on Black Friday

"I just bought a jacket". Already, Amazon customers have ordered more than 100,000 toys thus far this Black Friday.

What's interesting about Amazon's Cyber Week Deals is that with Amazon Prime Now, users can actually get their orders delivered to them within an hour. And it was like exhilarating.

"This is my first Black Friday experience", said John Hanford, as he scanned a pallet of toys at a Wal-Mart in Washington. "So, it's insane", Lisa Burrows, a member of the Bella's told WBZ.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc., which started its Black Friday sales on Thursday at 6 p.m., said shoppers were embracing technology products. I don't really like having to choose family over products. Wal-Mart started its online sale just after midnight on Thanksgiving, three hours earlier than a year ago.

This weekend is crucial to set the tone for the holiday season in the US.
