Val Chmerkovskiy Amber Rose dating

The 16-year-old gymnast - who was partnered with dancing professional Val Chmerkovskiy - took home the mirror ball trophy after Tuesday's finale (11.22.16), beating IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and his professional partner Sharna Burgess into second place, while retired National Football League player Calvin Johnson, Jr. and Lindsay Arnold came third. OK, and probably a cardigan as well.

Hinchcliffe paid tribute to partner Sharna Burgess, who carried on despite injury.

Judges scores: Scores: Carrie Ann: 10 Bruno: 10 Len: 10 Julianne: 10 Total: 40/40 - Vote for Laurie Hernandez & Valentin Chmerkovskiy #TeamValaur at 1-800-868-3407. Those are his word, FYI, not mine.

Hernandez is known for her dazzling floor exercise routine, where she has been nicknamed "baby Shakira" and the "human emoji" for her vivacious facial expressions and for her grace and artistry on the balance beam.

Kramer followed in the footsteps of fellow country stars Wynonna Judd, Kellie Pickler, Chuck Wicks, Sara Evans and Billy Ray Cyrus, all of whom have previously competed on Dancing With the Stars.

Aside from showing off extreme dancing talent, Hernandez also wore her emotions on her sequined-sleeves at many points during the competition.

Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko (Redemption Dance - Tango): 8-9-9-9 from the judges for a total of 35.

Dancing With the Stars will return for season 24 in the spring. The talented twosome received the first ideal score of the season on Cirque du Soleil Night in Week 4 and continued to be strong contenders.

After her win on Tuesday Hernandez had thanked her supporters, saying: "I just want to thank everyone for their support and riding along this insane roller coaster of my life".

"Dancing With the Stars" Season 23 came to a close on Tuesday, and just like the presidential election two weeks ago, it was a shockingly-tight race up until the very end. She won gold and silver medals representing the United States in gymnastics at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Hernandez will be joining the "Dancing With the Stars" live tour. According to Laurie, her goal was to inspire others and she sure did inspire a lot with her talent and passion for her craft. "We could have given out three trophies tonight", she said.
