UA Associate Professor Arrested After Yelling Obscenities at Arkansas Coach

What may be a bit different is getting heckled by a professor at his own school.

Officials say Nalley is facing public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges.

Nalley is listed on the University of Arkansas website as an assistant professor of agricultural economics and agribusiness. A fan was heard screaming obscenities at coach Bret Bielema, so the police showed up and took the man out of the stadium in handcuffs.

To be (somewhat) fair to Nalley, this is an incident that probably occurs on the majority of college campuses each weekend, especially with regard to the reasons for his arrest.

Nalley was booked and released within one hour of his arrest. He is a Georgia native who has received degrees from Ohio State (bachelor's), Mississippi State (master's) and Kansas State (PhD).

The Arkansas Razorbacks lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday 49-30, moving the team to 4-2 on the season.

That season, the Razorbacks recovered from their early woes by winning two of their final three SEC games and improving their overall record to 7-6 after winning only three games in Bielema's first season in 2013.
