Tom Hanks Crashes Central Park Wedding Photo Shoot

Tom Hanks

Photographer Meg Miller was working in Central Park over the weekend when Tom Hanks approached the newlyweds she was photographing. It's no wonder he's America's favorite actor!

"We were in the midst of shooting and he just sort of walked up to us and introduced himself saying, 'Hi, I'm Tom Hanks, '" Ms Miller told The New York Post.

And that someone happened to be none other than Tom Hanks! "Hanx", he captioned the unbelievable photo.

The photos, which might just be the greatest wedding snaps we've ever seen, were taken by photographer Meg Miller - and posted on Reddit by a close friend.

"Yesterday's wedding was so lovely", Meg wrote alongside the collage. "Elisabeth and Ryan you planned one wonderful celebration", Miller wrote on Instagram. "The icing on the cake was @tomhanks stopping in Central Park to wish them congratulations".

A couple's wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of their lives... and for this couple, that might actually be true!

The star won the Best Actor Academy Award two years in a row in 1994 and 1995 for Philadelphia and Forrest Gump, but has not been nominated since 2001 for Cast Away.

"That's somebody else's responsibility, I don't have to do anything like that". "I took, like, a thousand pictures". And that time he landed a plane in the Hudson River even after birds blew up the engines?!
