IPhone 7 woes: Is 'Hissgate' the new 'Bendgate'?

Starting today, customers with an iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6s Plus can trade-up their existing handset for an iPhone 7 and get up to $315 for turning in their old device. People are still upset though, and some of the complaints are valid. However, there hasn't been any official statement on the issue so far.Apple will roll out iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus in the Indian market on October 7.

The issue may be related to the new quad-core A10 Fusion processor, which kicks in when your phone is trying to do a lot of heavy lifting.

As Apple warned, the jet black iPhone 7 is prone to scratching which is why sticking to the classic matte black model is the best choice if you want a black iPhone. However, the Jet Black iPhone is far from flawless: It bruises very, very easily.

Some users have found that after enabling and disabling airplane mode on their iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, they see a "no service" message in the upper left corner of the screen and are no longer able to connect to cellular networks. Apple, on its support page, says that if a consumer has this issue, they should restart their device or remove the SIM and reinsert it again. Another issue reported was with Beats earphones which likewise has a non-working remote issue when utilized with the Lightning connector. Apple said on Monday it is working on an upcoming software update to fix the issue.
