Teen who scaled Trump Tower had problems at home

Man Climbs Trump Tower to Meet Billionaire Tycoon Arrested

Police grabbed the man from the facade and pulled him into the 58-story Trump Tower.

Rogata was attempting to climb all the way to the top of Trump Tower to speak with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Trump also lives there, though he was in Virginia in the afternoon and was headed to Florida for an evening event.

The 19-year-old climber, Stephen Rogata, from Great Falls, Virginia, was charged with reckless endangerment and criminal trespass.

Our office has received a number of media inquiries concerning an individual named Michael Ryan, who is alleged to have attempted to climb the Trump Tower in New York City on August 10, 2016.

In the video, he discusses wanting to meet Trump, and says he is a "private researcher". The world watched for three hours as Steve made it to about the 21st floor with his suction cups before police detained him.

Officers from the NYPD attempt to detain a man as he climbs the outside of Trump Tower Wednesday.

It remains unclear whether legal action will be taken against Rogata. "Police officials said he told them about a YouTube video he posted on Tuesday that explained his motives". Did he want to express his disappointment with Trump Steaks?

He was taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation. When he got close, they quickly grabbed him and hauled him over the window ledge into their custody. Officers then removed two windows from the 21st floor and began speaking to the climber. When would-be rescuers smashed a window above him, he ducked to avoid big shards of glass that fell. The chase ended dramatically just after 6:30 p.m. What isn't clear is what he wanted to tell Trump, though he's definitely a fan and encouraged people to "get out and vote for Mr. Trump in the 2016 election". "Believe me, if my objective was not significant, I would not risk my life pursuing it", he says, addressing Trump.

"I'll get my contact information to your campaign so that if you are interested you can respond", he said.

Trump was not in the building at the time the man climbed it. "I'm 100% certain the NYPD had better things to do".
